Before he was a prophet, every day Prophet Muhammad (SAW) would go up a mountain into a cave to think and pray and to stay away from the evils of his village. Until one night at the age of 40 he was sleeping in the cave when all of a sudden a voice called after him, "O Muhammad, you are the messenger of God, and I am the Angel Jibreel (Gabriel)." Then he said to him "Read", then Muhammad said he couldn't so Jibreel pressed on him and told him again "Read" so he could repeat the Quran at his lead.
