English: BLT #3 - Inference and Point of View

Kyle ran into his house, slamming the door behind him.  He ran up to his bedroom and closed the door. He didn't want to speak with anyone about what happened. He replayed the exact moment in the baseball game when it happened. He practiced for that exact moment and for it to turn out the way it did he couldn't believe it. He knew there would be next season, but that was a long way away. Until then, he would need to live with his mistake.

Cassie rolled over in her bed as she felt the sunlight hit her face.  The beams were warming the back of her neck when she slowly realized that it was a Thursday, and she felt a little too good for a Thursday.  Struggling to open her eyes, she looked up at the clock. “9:48,” she shouted, “Holy cow!”  Cassie jumped out of bed, threw on the first outfit that she grabbed, brushed her teeth in two swipes, threw her books into her backpack, and then ran out the door.

He walked up to his house to open the door, but it wouldn't open. His neighbor, Mr. Jones, noticed the situation and started laughing. He then offered his phone for Mr. Rosecrantz to call his wife, who he was afraid to bother again, since she was at work.
