What do the registration papers show?

• The weight of the vehicle empty and how much it is registered to haul.

• The name of the registered owner of the vehicle and the date it was registered

• Any temporary tags good for 20 days

With the exception of tire chains for safety it is unlawful to operate on a highway any vehicle with:

• Wheels with a dealer applied patch on one or more tires

• Wheels having less than 1/2 inch tread left on the tire

• Wheels having cleats, lugs, flanges, studs, spikes, or other extensions on the rim that could damage the road.
