once upon a time there was a cuddly plush toy wolf named Zippy Zippy was a stuffed toy who comforted little children to bed he felt their warm loving Embrace listened to the joyous bedtime stories whispered against his velvety soft ears and when the children Grew Older he got tossed into a flea market only to be taken home by another new child this happened for years Zippy started to wish he was a real wolf and one night his sad eyes and staunch yearning to turn into a real wolf Was Heard by a fairy up above in the night night sky and as Zippy was leaning up against a shelf in the Moonlight a magical transformation occurred his soft fur made way to rough coir tuft his paws grew heavy and a gleaming zipper now sealed his felt tummy he was a real wolf yes but a strange one forever Tethered to his plushy past once Zippy came to life he ran to the Forest nearby to his freedom he reveled in the thrill of the wind whipping through his furry coat he howled at the moon like a real wolf for the first time in his life  oh that felt good so this is what it  means to be a real wolf I'm so famished my stomach is growling for food as Zippy was discovering himself he tried chewing on some dry grass and spat it out instantly he then proceeded to follow a scent that his nostrils picked up and followed the fragrant Trail which led him to a pretty little cottage where a mother goat lived with her seven kids I'm going to the market to get groceries you mustn't open the door to anyone don't forget I've heard rumours of a  Wicked Wolf lurking about here on the prowl sure Mom but how would we know what if someone knocks on the door I've heard it's black with horrifying pause and a nasty deep voice if it knocks keep the door tightly shut and remember kids wolves are clever Predators they are known to outsmart their praise and make them into a Happy Meal mother goat's words were wise  indeed for as she was telling one of her neighbours about her fears Zippy the wolf disguised as a peasant was hiding close by listening to every word good very good if the mama goat goes to Market I'll drop by her house and say hi to her kids then trying not to look too conspicuous the wolf hurried along to the goat's Cottage there he threw off his disguise he then growled in a deep voice open the door open the door it's mother I've just come back from the market open the door when the kids heard the deep voice they remembered their mother's warning from behind the barge door We Know Who You Are are you're the wolf our mother has a sweet gentle voice not a deep horrible one like yours go away we'll never open the door to you and though the wolf banged furiously on the door the kids though trembling with Terror refused to let him into the house and so the door remained shut then the wolf had Had a Brain Wave he dashed off to the Bakers and got a big cake dripping with honey he hoped this would sweeten his voice open the door children it's mother open the door children it's mother come out and help me with these heavy bags and in fact after eating it his voice didn't sound quite so deep over and over again he practiced imitating mother goat's tender voice you see he'd heard it from the woods when he felt certain he could

easily be mistaken for mother goat

herself he rushed back to the house and

inside this time the kids had doubts The

Voice did rather sound like mothers and

they were about to unlock the door when

one of the kids suspiciously asked

mother let us see your foot without

thinking the wolf raised a black hairy

paw and the kids knew the wolf had come

back don't come any closer you're not

our mother she doesn't have horrid hairy

paws like you go away go away you Wicked

Wolf and once more despite all his hard

work the wolf found the door locked

against

him the wolf ran down to the

mill and found a sack of flour he thrust

his paw into it until they were Pure

White I'll trick them this time my

mouth's watering already I'm hungry my

tummy is growling and my trousers are

falling off my waist I'll gobble these

Tinder kids ho

again he knocked on the door open the

door open the door boys it's mother I've

just come back from the market these

bags are full of treats one of you come

fetch me there are

plenty This Time the Wicked Wolf also

tweaked the mother goat's voice to

Perfection The Voice seemed exactly like

hers but the cautious kids quick called

out again mother let us see your foot

the Wy wolf lifted a snow white paw and

the kids now

reassured threw open the door what a

shock they received an enormous set of

jaws with razor sharp fangs growled

fiercely the feral wolf with his claws

out reached for his prey the kids

scampered in panic one dived under the

table while another snuck below the bed

another kid hid in the cupboard and one

tried to hide in the oven though the

stove was still

hot one kid crouched inside a

barrel the smartest kid hid in the

grandfather clock there he huddled

holding his breath as the wolf hunted

down his

brothers one by one the kids were pulled

from their hiding places all except for

him the wicked Wolf's appetite did not

pass until he had found each one of them

and swallowed each in a single gulp the

only one to escape was the little black

lamb kid for the wolf never imagined

that there was room for a kid inside the

very narrow grandfather

clock meanwhile mother goat really came

back from the market when from a

distance she noticed that the door was a

jar she rushed home with her heart in

her mouth she had it Sinking Feeling oh

no my poor babies Oh My My not my poor

babies her worst fear was

actualized when she came inside the

cottage she saw her house was at 6es and

7s her belongings were thrown around

chaos the Wicked Wolf had gobbled up all

her children she dropped into a chair

Bing bitterly but as she cried the door

of the grandfather clock swung

open and out ran the black

wolf came like you said and I think he

is eating

all oh I'm sorry my poor child you're

the only one left that evil brute has

gobbled them all

 

not long after Mother goat and her son

left the house to take a stroll in the

garden suddenly she heard a low wheezing

sound someone was snoring

heavily it was the greedy wolf his Feast

of kids had been too much for him and he

was fast asleep oblivious to the world

around

him mother goat glared down at him in

anger

she grinded her teeth but quickly she

noticed something unusual she saw the

zipper sewn across the fat tummy of the

wolf she took a double take and no they

were not his dungarees it was on his

skin this was Zippy the wolf in a Flash

the mama goat had an idea she said to

her son quickly but quietly run and

fetch me a heap of stones lay low and

don't panic mama is here we can do this

now

go once the little black lamb got busy

collecting Stones she turned to the wolf

and dextrously unzipped the wolf's

stomach as she had hoped the ravenous

brute had swallowed every kid hole which

meant they were still all alive and well

inside his tummy one by one out they

popped from the wolf's

tummy sh boys silently go help your

brother he is out back collecting Stones

Pebbles small rocks anything you can

find come on now Scurry along and be

quiet mama is here where is he behind

 

that bush darling look oh okay Mom it's

good to see you

Mom oh my darling it's good to see you

too now go

hurry hurry not a sound you heard mama

and kids we must get away before he

wakens

up and so Mama goat filled the wolf's

stomach with stones Pebbles and Tiny

rocks that all the little lambs had

collected and she nimbly zipped it back

up

again the wolf woke up later with a

raging

thirst ah what a heavy t tumy I have

I've eaten too much all these lamb kids

I could really use a drink of

 

water but as the wolf bent down to the

river to drink his tummy full of stones

tipped him over and he fell into the

water the weight took him straight to

the bottom and the goat and her kids

shrieked with joy as he sanky Mama you're a genius I love you

Mama my babies I love you all so very

much the Wicked Wolf was

gone and the kids scurried home happily

with their loving mother and they all

lived happily ever after
