Mutashabihaat Rule 1-10

Guess which rule to apply to remember these two ayaat and why:

ءَأَمِنتُم مَّن فِى ٱلسَّمَآءِ أَن يَخْسِفَ بِكُمُ ٱلْأَرْضَ فَإِذَا هِىَ تَمُورُ 67:16

أَمْ أَمِنتُم مَّن فِى ٱلسَّمَآءِ أَن يُرْسِلَ عَلَيْكُمْ حَاصِبًۭا ۖ فَسَتَعْلَمُونَ كَيْفَ نَذِيرِ 67:17

• Rule 1- alphabetical order (خْ before ر)

• Rule 1- alphabetical order (ن before ي)

How can we remember these two ayaat?

وَرَبُّكَ ٱلْغَنِىُّ ذُو ٱلرَّحْمَةِ ۚ (Surah An'aam)

وَرَبُّكَ ٱلْغَفُورُ ذُو ٱلرَّحْمَةِ ۖ (Surah Kahf)

• Rule 1- alphabetical order

• Rule 5- more words in later position

• Rule 4- linking the ayah to the name of the surah

• Rule 6- studying the characteristics of the surah
