How the Pawn moves?

(Kā iet bandinieks?)

• Only 1 square forward (Tikai 1 lauciņu uz priekšu)

• On the first move - 1 or 2 squares forward, then only 1 move forward (Pirmajā gājienā - 1 vai 2 lauciņu uz priekšu, pēc tam tikai 1 lauciņu uz priekšu)

• Only 1 square forward and 1 square diagonally (Tikai 1 lauciņu uz priekšu un 1 pa diagonāli)

How the Pawn takes? (Kā bandinieks sit?)

• The Pawn can take only 1 square diagonally (Bandinieks sit vienu lauciņu pa diagonāli uz priekšu)

• The Pawn is the only Chess Pieces, that is not able to take opponent's pieces (Bandinieks vienīgais nevar nosist pretinieka figūras)

• The Pawn can take by moving to the 1 square forward or diagonally (Bandinieks sit, pārvietoties uz 1 lauciņu uz priekšu un vienu diagonāli)

How The Royalty (The King and the Queen) stands on the Opening Position? (Kāds ir karaļa un dāmas novietojums uz laukuma spēles sākumā?)

• In the middle of the chess board - the Queen always starts on the square of its own colour and the King always is next to the Queen on the opposite colour square (Laukuma vidū - Dāma vienmēr atrodas uz savas krāsas lauciņa, bet karalis atrodas blakus dāmai uz pretējās krāsas lauciņa)
