1. A Recommended Practice:

 

 

• A. Is a specificationrecognized as necessary in the interest of safety, uniformity or efficiency of international air navigation, and which the Contracting States willendeavor to apply or at least notify to the 'ICAO.

• B. Anyspecificationrelating to the physicalcharacteristics, configuration, equipment, performance, personnel and procedures, the uniform application of whichisrecognized as desirable in the interests of safety, regularity or efficiency international air navigation and to which the Contracting States willendeavor to comply in accordance with the provisions of the Convention.

• C. Is a mandatory plancher ’floor’ standard of securitythatany state canacceptwhenflying over itsownterritory.

1. Annexes to the Chicago Convention, also called ICAO annexes:

 

• A. Concern the 18 annexes associated with document 7300/9.

• B. Concern the 96 articles of ICAO document 7300 in itsninthrevision, to which a so-calledannex 19 wasadded in November 2013 and dealingwith SMS.

• C. Have seen their list extended by a 19th annex relating to the safety management system and dealingwith a device for managing the risk of accidents and incidents to berequired by the authority of a State to of itsaeronautical service providers.

1. What is a Certificate of fitness to fly?

 

• A. An aircraft is fit to flight only if it can maneuver safely within the envelope of the flight envelope defined by the applicable airworthiness regulations.

• B. An aircraft is considered fit to fly only if it can perform all operational maneuvers under normal load factor conditions between +2.5 and –1.

• C. Anaircraft is fit for flight only if it continues to meet the technical airworthiness conditions, which served as the basis for issuing the initial CDN and serving as a basis for keeping it valid.

Regarding the airworthiness of an aircraft, preventive maintenance:

• B. Compliance with AD / CN is mandatory for all operators of the affected aircraft.

To ensure the supervision of civil aviation safety in a State, the civil aviation authority of that State ensures:

 

• A. Conformity of aeronautical operators in this State with the standards and recommended practices of the nineteen annexes to the Chicago Convention.

• B. The conformity of each aeronautical operator in this State with national regulations and accepted voluntary specifications, in this area, which it has set itself and mentioned in these manuals filed with its regulatory authority.

• C. Compliance of aeronautical operators in this State with the requirements mentioned in the primary legislation of basic decree 2.61.161.
