My Independence Day Experience

Last year, on August 17th, my school held a celebration for Indonesia's Independence Day. The event started early in the morning. First, a flag-raising ceremony. I stood in line with my classmates as we sang the national anthem. It was a proud moment for all of us.

After the ceremony, there was a parade. We walked around the neighborhood, waving small flags and cheering. The streets were filled with people who came out to watch. It was a fun experience because I got to be with my friends and celebrate together.
