Throughout this term, we learnt a lot on social manners. What topics have we covered?

• Using the internet

• Interaction with neighbours

• Walking with elders & seniors

• Interaction with non-muslims

When we are using a mobile phone, what manners (Adab) should we follow?

• Keep calling again in again when no one answers

• Ask the person if it is the appropriate time to talk

• Have a complex and beautiful ring tone

• Put your phone away when you are with your family

Is it disrespectful to use a mobile phone when you are in an online class such as KAFA class?

• Yes, when the teacher is teaching.

• No

• NO, if we are using it for lesson purposes and with permission

Is the picture indicating an Adab when using mobile phone?

• Yes

• No

When using the internet, what manners should we follow?

• Go on the internet without any reason/purpose

• Learn your din (religion) through your teachers and not any websites

• Do not give any personal details to any stranger

• Do not click on 'pop-ups'

What is the proper way when walking with elders or seniors?

• Walk to his right

• Leave his left clear in case he needs to get rid of dirt

• Walk to his left

• Leave his right clear in case he needs to get rid of dirt

How do we interact with non-muslims with good manners?

• Visit them if a relative of theirs has died

• Tell them they will not go to Jannah (paradise)

• Be kind to only your Muslim friends

• Display good manners so they see the beauty of Islam

Why do we have to show good manners with Non-Muslims?

• To remove any negative image they may have regarding Muslims

• Indirectly showing them the beauty of Islam

• To make them hate Muslims

• So they will be interested in learning Islam one day

How do we express condolences?

• We must express condolences sensitively

• Start by saying, "Do you know who just died?"

• Remind them the rewards of being patience.

• We must choose the right moment.
