Hie chuckled and shook his head, then ran to catch up with his friends yelling, "Hey, wait for me!"

Serena desperately wanted to get her driver's license, but she was nervous about the driving test. Her father pulled into the parking lot of the DMV. Serena felt the scar on her arm. She shuddered as she recalled the day of the horrible accident. It had been raining all night and the roads were so slick. The other car came crashing across the lane into them. The sound had been so loud. But that was then. Becca looked up at the sun and opened the car door.
