Choosing a pet can seem difficult.  With all the different types of cats, dogs, birds, rats, hamster, guinea pigs, fish, and rabbit available, is can seem hard to determine which animal would make the best pet. 
A bird is the best option for most people.  Birds are much easier to take care of than most other animals because they do not have to be housebroken.  Also, birds do not have to be given as much attention as other animals like dogs, which need to be walked often. 
What is the author's point of view on the best pet?

• Any pet can be the best pet.
• Dogs are the best, because they lick you and play with you.

Many movies are created based off of children's books.  Usually, the movie is better.  It is much more expensive to create a movie than a book, so it makes sense that the movie would be of higher quality.  Also, movies provide a lot more visual details, dialogue, and facial expressions that you won't see by reading the book.  If you have a choice between reading the book or watching the movie, you should choose to watch the movie.
The author's point of view is that you should watch a movie instead of read a book.  Which piece of evidence supports the author's view.

Scientists sometimes use animals to test new medicines.  Although many people dislike this approach because of the harm it could do to the animals, testing on animals has helped save human lives.  If scientists didn't test medicines on animals first, then humans would have to take the medicines without knowing what the possible side effects could be, or even if the medicines were safe to take!  Animal testing has also led to many scientific breakthroughs which have helped keep humans healthier.
