What is sensory language?

Language that writer's use to appeal to our senses

Language that authors use to "unlock" certain memories

To give you a visual image about where she is at, and to let you know of her surroundings.

To let you know she is in a field of daisies.

Because she didn't have anything else to put in the poem.

Why do authors use sensory language?

It is a way for a writer to help the reader see or connect with their story

All stories must have sensory language or they become poems.

without censorship, kids may be exposed to bad writing.
