Water Safety -Prevention

At your house there is a dam, a fish pond and a swimming pool. You also notice a bucket with water in it and a rainwater tank with a lid missing. Select the best answer to make my house safe from water accidents.

• Fence the dam and pool, put mesh on the pond, put the lid on the tank and empty the bucket and leave it upside down.

• Tip the bucket into the pond. Use the bucket to go catch fish in the pond and put them in the dam. Go swimming.

• Let the water out of the rainwater tank. Drain the pool and put the fish in the bucket so I can see them better.

• Everything is ok. Its been like that for years and the last owners didn't do anything so it should be ok.
