Router: Device that connects different networks and directs traffic between them.

Switch: Device that interconnects several devices in a local area network (LAN) and sends data only to the appropriate recipient.

VLAN (Virtual LAN): Logical network created within a switch to segment devices and improve security and efficiency.

Interfaces: Connection points where devices or systems interact with each other.

Ports: Physical or logical connections used to send or receive data.

Broadcast: Communication where a device sends data to all devices on the network.

Masks: Value that defines which part of an IP address belongs to the network and which to the hosts.

DNS (Domain Name System): Service that translates domain names into IP addresses.

DHCP (Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol): Protocol that automatically assigns IP addresses to devices on a network.

IP (Internet Protocol): Unique address that identifies a device on the network.
