Was versteht man unter Monotonie?

• Monotonie bezieht sich auf die Anzahl der Nullstellen einer Funktion.

• Monotonie ist die Eigenschaft einer Funktion, entweder immer zu steigen oder immer zu fallen.

• Eine Funktion, die entweder nur positive oder nur negative Funktionswerte hat, heißt monoton.
