Semitendinosus

• Ischial tuberosity, Medial surface of superior part of tibia.

• Lateral epicondyle of the femur, Anterior surface of the tibia.

• Greater trochanter of the femur, Posterior surface of the tibia.

• Ischial spine, Lateral surface of the fibula.

Obturator externus

• External surface of obturator membrane and surrounding bones, Trochanteric fossa of femur.

• Internal surface of obturator membrane and surrounding bones, Greater trochanter of femur.

• Lateral surface of obturator membrane and surrounding bones, Lesser trochanter of femur.

• Medial surface of obturator membrane and surrounding bones, Intertrochanteric crest of femur.

• Upper two-thirds of anterior and lateral surfaces of shaft of femur, Common tendinous attachment to base of patella.

• Lower third of posterior surface of femur, Direct attachment to the tibia.

• Entire length of the femur, No tendinous attachment.

• Upper one-third of medial surface of femur, Attachment to the fibula.

Adductor hallucis (Transverse head)

• Plantar ligaments of metatarsophalangeal (MTP) joints.

• Dorsal ligaments of interphalangeal joints.

• Collateral ligaments of the ankle joint.

• Plantar fascia of the foot.

Gluteus maximus

• Ilium posterior to posterior gluteal line, Dorsal surface of sacrum and coccyx, Sacrotuberous ligament, Most fibers end in iliotibial tract, Some fibers insert on gluteal tuberosity.

• Ilium anterior to anterior gluteal line, Ventral surface of sacrum, Sacrospinous ligament, All fibers end in iliotibial tract.

• Ilium medial to posterior gluteal line, Dorsal surface of lumbar vertebrae, Sacrotuberous ligament, Some fibers insert on greater trochanter.

• Ilium lateral to posterior gluteal line, Dorsal surface of coccyx, Sacrotuberous ligament, Most fibers insert on femoral shaft.

Psoas minor

• Sides of T12-L1 vertebrae, Intervertebral discs, Pectineal line, Iliopectineal eminence.

• Sides of L1-L2 vertebrae, Intervertebral discs, Pectineal line, Iliopectineal eminence.

• Sides of T10-T11 vertebrae, Intervertebral discs, Pectineal line, Iliopectineal eminence.

• Sides of T12-L1 vertebrae, Intervertebral discs, Pectineal line, Iliac crest.

Psoas major

• Sides of T12-L5 vertebrae and discs, Transverse processes of all lumbar vertebrae, Lesser trochanter of femur.

• Greater trochanter of femur, Iliac crest, Sacrum, and Coccyx.

• Lateral epicondyle of the femur, Patella, and Tibia.

• Anterior superior iliac spine, Pubic symphysis, and Ischial tuberosity.

Articularis genus

• Anterior surface of distal femur just inferior to vastus intermedius, Suprapatellar bursa.

• Posterior surface of proximal tibia near the meniscus.

• Lateral aspect of the femur near the greater trochanter.

• Medial condyle of the femur, near the adductor tubercle.

Gluteus medius

• External surface of ilium between anterior and posterior gluteal lines

• Medial surface of the femur

• Posterior surface of the ilium

• Anterior surface of the greater trochanter of femur

Fibularis tertius

• Inferior third of anterior surface of fibula, Interosseous membrane.

• Superior third of posterior surface of fibula, Intermuscular septum.

• Inferior third of medial surface of tibia, Interosseous membrane.

• Middle third of lateral surface of fibula, Deep fascia.
