Maria surveyed 40 students about their favorite sports. Four students like swimming, at least six like basketball, and twice as many like soccer as basketball. The task is to complete a pictograph where each red X represents two students and determine how many more students like soccer than swimming. Through trial and error, it is found that 12 students like basketball and 24 like soccer. The pictograph is completed with six X's for basketball and 12 X's for soccer. The final answer is that 20 more students like soccer than swimming.
