During WWII, Britain and the US devised unconventional weapons to combat their enemies. The British created rat bombs, filling rat cadavers with explosives to disrupt German operations. Although the plan was intercepted, it instilled paranoia in the German army. Meanwhile, the US developed bat bombs, strapping incendiary devices to bats to target Japanese buildings. Despite initial success, the project faced challenges and was eventually abandoned in favor of the atomic bomb project.
