Kraft Foods Group Names John Cahill as CEO

Kraft Foods has appointed John Cahill as the new CEO, replacing Tony Vernon, who will leave at the end of the fiscal year on December 27th. Cahill, previously the chairman and CEO of Pepsi Bottling Group, brings experience in consumer packaged products. Tony Vernon will remain as a senior advisor until March 31st and a director until the next annual meeting.
