Ancient crocodiles may have walked on two feet

In 2019, researchers discovered fossilized tracks in South Korea, believed to belong to an ancient bipedal crocodile named Batricopus grandis. The footprints, found west of Sachon City, measure up to 24 cm and resemble crocodile tracks. The absence of tail drag marks suggests bipedal movement. The findings were published in Scientific Reports, with Professor Martin Lockley as a coauthor.
