Raymond Noé, the first condor born in captivity in Buenos Aires since 2013, was introduced to the public. The Buenos Aires Zoo has successfully incubated and raised 51 condors as part of a conservation project. Raymond Noé, named after the Mapuche term for 'Flowering Condor', was born two weeks ago and is being raised with the help of a puppet to prevent human attachment. The Andean Condor Conservation Project, initiated in 1991, aims to increase the condor population across Latin America.
