The Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam unveiled a newly discovered painting by Vincent Van Gogh, 'Puesta del sol en Montmajur', which had been forgotten in a Norwegian attic. Painted in 1888, this large landscape was authenticated through Van Gogh's techniques and a letter he wrote. The painting was mistakenly thought to be a forgery by its previous owner, a Norwegian collector who acquired it in 1908.
