NASA's Voyager One, the most distant human-made object, is sending usable data again after a hardware issue. The spacecraft, which left the solar system in 2012, had a chip malfunction that caused it to send gibberish. NASA resolved this by rerouting software to other chips. Currently, Voyager One is sending engineering and health data, with plans to retrieve science data soon. The spacecraft is exploring interstellar space, powered by radioactive decay, and carries golden discs with Earth sounds and images. Its mission continues as it travels through the galaxy.
