Two astronauts, Sunny Williams and Butch Wilmore, have been in space since last June due to issues with the Boeing Starliner test flight, which was part of NASA's commercial crew program. A helium leak and thruster problems were found, making the Starliner too risky for their return. NASA and Boeing sent the vehicle back to Earth without the astronauts, who then joined the space station crew. They are now expected to return home with the SpaceX Crew 10 mission, scheduled to launch on March 12th, after a week-long handover period.
