On a record-setting day, 25 Chinese military aircraft entered Taiwan's Air Defense Identification Zone (ADIZ) via five different flight paths. The aircraft included J10 and J16 fighters, H6K bombers, Y8 anti-submarine planes, and a KJ500 early warning plane. This surpassed the previous high of 20 aircraft on March 26. The incursions were reportedly in response to a US-Taiwan accord on coast guard cooperation.
