Actor Woody Harrelson's Dad Was a Hit Man

Charles Harrelson, father of actor Woody Harrelson, was a notorious hitman involved in multiple contract killings. Born in Texas, he served in the Navy before descending into a life of crime. He was tried for three murders, including the assassination of Judge John H. Wood Jr., for which he received two life sentences. Despite claiming to have killed 50 people, his actual involvement is debated. Harrelson's life was marked by legal battles, prison escapes, and a complex relationship with his son. He died in prison in 2007.
