Living Green - Episode 93 - Bio Diesel Train

The Virgin Voyager train in the UK has been adapted to use a blended fuel containing 20% biodiesel, which is derived from biological sources like rapeseed, soybean, and palm oil. Biodiesel is biodegradable and emits less CO2 compared to traditional diesel. Virgin aims to transition its entire fleet to biodiesel, potentially reducing CO2 emissions by 14%, equivalent to removing 100,000 cars from the roads.
