Ten years old and divorced

Nujood, a 10-year-old girl from Yemen, was forced into marriage and suffered abuse. She bravely sought a divorce, becoming a symbol of change in a culture where young girls often suffer in silence. Her story inspired others and highlighted the issue of child marriage in Yemen. Nujood now dreams of becoming a lawyer to help others like her.
