French Troops Enter Timbuktu

French Foreign Legion paratroopers arrived to patrol the town. The locals, lacking weapons, struggled to resist the jihadis. The French began an assault on jihadist bases, including a house once owned by Colonel Gaddafi, used as a jihadist headquarters.
