VOICED : Buenos Aires prepara candidatura olimpica con Juegos de Juventud

The Youth Olympic Games in Buenos Aires 2018 are seen as a stepping stone for a potential bid for the 2032 Olympics. Tomás Bach, president of the International Olympic Committee, highlighted the significance of the Olympic Village in Villa Soldati, which aims to revitalize the southern part of the city. The village, consisting of 31 buildings, is planned to be repurposed for housing after the games. Currently, 1,200 homes are being built to accommodate 7,000 athletes and coaches. The games are scheduled from October 6 to 18, 2018.
