I WONDER - What Is A Marsh?

Marshes are wetlands found near rivers, lakes, and coastlines, characterized by soft, wet ground and diverse plant life, including grasses, reeds, and cattails. They vary greatly in size, from small isolated areas to large expanses covering many acres, and in depth, ranging from a few inches to several feet.
