Researchers from China and the US have discovered DNA and other organic materials in 75 million-year-old dinosaur fossils, challenging the belief that DNA only lasts around a million years. The discovery was made while studying Hypercosaurus skull fragments, revealing proteins, chromosomes, and cartilage cells. These dinosaurs, herbivores from the late Cretaceous period, lived in Canada and the USA.
