VOICED : Sanofi y GSK comienzan a probar en seres humanos posible vacuna contra covid-19

Sanofi and GSK have initiated clinical trials for a potential COVID-19 vaccine, using technology previously applied to flu vaccines. The trials, involving 440 participants, aim to assess tolerance and immune response. If successful, the vaccine could be commercialized by the end of the year. The companies plan to produce up to 1 billion doses in 2021, with significant portions reserved by the EU, US, and UK. Additionally, they will contribute to COVAX for equitable distribution. Other vaccines, like those from Pfizer and Moderna, are in more advanced stages.
