Anti-nuclear Demonstration

Police used water cannons to push them back, leading many to seek refuge in underground stations. Arrests were made for those who resisted or threw objects, with paint canisters being a popular choice. Despite the water cannon onslaught, some students held a wooden cross high. As they retreated, they overturned roadmenders' huts to slow down the police pursuit.
