Poll Shows Many Americans Considered Quitting Jobs During The Pandemic

During the COVID-19 pandemic, a significant number of workers considered quitting their jobs, especially those in lower income brackets, women, and people of color in essential roles. A survey revealed that 39% of low-income workers thought about quitting, compared to 23% of higher-income workers. Many women, particularly mothers, faced stress due to childcare responsibilities. Despite these challenges, about half of the participants felt their employers were handling pandemic safety measures adequately.
