VOICED : Gobierno de unidad para palestinos

Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas will announce a new Unity Government, ending seven years of rival administrations in the West Bank and Gaza. This follows an agreement between Hamas and the Fatah-dominated PLO. The government will immediately start its work program, aiming to reunify civil and security institutions and rebuild Gaza. It will be led by Rami Hamdallah and consist of independent figures. Legislative elections are planned within six months.
