Funeral of President Harding July 29th, 1923, USA

President Harding, already weakened by the flu and stress from a scandal, died of a cerebral hemorrhage. Despite his waning popularity, there was a massive outpouring of affection. Crowds gathered at every stop of his funeral train, singing his favorite hymn, 'Onward, Christian Soldiers.'
