The Lobbyist King

Lucius Tarquinus Priscus, an Etruscan, moved to Rome due to restrictions in his hometown. He became a close friend of King #4 and eventually rose to power after the king's death. Priscus built the Circus Maximus, won wars, and celebrated a triumph. However, he was assassinated by the previous king's sons. The queen ensured the crown went to Servius Tullius instead.
