How asteroid mining might work

The video explains that much of Earth's precious metals originated from asteroids that collided with the planet in its early days. The asteroid belt between Mars and Jupiter is rich in minerals, but near-Earth asteroids offer the best mining opportunities due to their proximity. There are about 1000 such asteroids nearby, and mining them could involve using a magnetic rake to collect valuable metals, which would then be processed and returned to Earth.
