Chilean Ship Brings Vital Supplies to The US

The Chilean naval training vessel Lautaro, originally built in Germany, arrives in San Francisco. Previously interned with a Nazi crew, the ship was transferred to Chile last year. It is the largest active sailing ship and will be equipped with motors for regular trade runs involving chili and nitrates. The United States acknowledges this development with approval.
