VOICED : Gobierno de Maduro acusa destrucción de empresa venezolana en Colombia que controlaba Guaidó

The Venezuelan government has regained control of the state-owned fertilizer company Monómeros, located in Colombia, after three years under the control of opposition leader Juan Guaidó. The plant is currently in ruins with no production capacity. The transfer of control was facilitated by Colombian President Gustavo Petro, following the restoration of diplomatic relations with Venezuela. Monómeros, acquired by Venezuela in 2006, was a significant supplier of agricultural inputs in Colombia. Legal actions have been initiated against Guaidó's appointees, accused of attempting to bankrupt the company. The controversy has led to political distancing from Guaidó by some Venezuelan opposition parties.
