Do Coupons Really Save You Money

A group of New Jersey teens embarked on a project to support a local soup kitchen by using extreme couponing. Inspired by a TV show, they collected coupons from various sources, including parents, students, and local supermarkets. They partnered with YSA and received a $500 grant from Sodexo to maximize their purchasing power. The teens faced challenges in selecting the right products but ultimately succeeded in acquiring over $1000 worth of goods. Their efforts significantly benefited the community, highlighting the importance of giving back and utilizing untapped resources like coupons.
