German satirist Sebastian Brandt uses the event for propaganda, claiming it as a divine omen for Maximilian of Austria's victory over France and Turkey. Maximilian's campaigns succeed, and he becomes the Holy Roman Emperor. The meteorite incident inadvertently inspires Habsburg expansion across Europe, including the establishment of the Habsburg dynasty in Spain.
