NASA discovers Earth-like planet

Kepler 452B, located 1400 light years away, is the most Earth-like planet found by NASA. It orbits a G star similar to our sun in the constellation Cygnus, with a year lasting 385 days. Kepler 452B is 5% farther from its sun than Earth is from ours, yet receives similar sunlight due to its sun being 10% larger. Gravity on Kepler 452B is about twice as strong as on Earth.
