VOICED : Periodistas protestan en sur de Mexico por asesinato de colega

Journalists in Chiapas, Mexico, protested the murder of Mario Gómez, a 35-year-old journalist shot dead after receiving threats. He was the ninth journalist killed in 2018. Gómez worked for El Heraldo de Chiapas in Yajalón and faced threats after exposing political corruption in 2016. Article 19 reported on these threats, and El Heraldo sources confirmed recent intimidations.
