VOICED : Bloqueos en Costa Rica por manifestacion de sindicatos en huelga

In Costa Rica, tens of thousands of public sector workers marched in San José, while taxi drivers blocked roads, protesting a fiscal reform project that includes tax increases. The protest, sarcastically called Marcha de los Gatos, began on September 10. Workers argue they already pay taxes and are defending their rights. The reform aims to address a growing fiscal deficit, which reached 6.2% of GDP in 2017 and could rise to 7.2% this year. The strike has led to roadblocks, fuel distribution interruptions, and the suspension of public health services and education.
