Slovenia is deploying its military to assist police in managing the influx of migrants from Croatia, as the recent surge has overwhelmed the country's capacity. The government plans to seek parliamentary approval for a law allowing military involvement in crisis situations. Currently, the military can only provide logistical and technical support. Over 8,000 migrants arrived in Slovenia in one day, making it a key transit point after Hungary closed its borders. Slovenia calls for greater European solidarity in handling the crisis, as many migrants from Syria, Africa, and Afghanistan aim to reach Germany, Sweden, and other EU countries.
