Fighting Malaria with Fungus

Scientists at Baconing University in the Netherlands have discovered that the fungus Beauveria Bassiana can effectively kill malaria mosquitoes without harming humans or animals. This fungus, found naturally in the ground, can be easily harvested and stored. When mosquitoes come into contact with the fungus, it infects and kills them within days. The team plans to conduct larger tests in malaria-prone areas, as the method promises no resistance, no toxic side effects, and lower costs due to local production.
