Migrants fleeing violence and poverty in the Middle East and Africa are stuck in Hungary, fearing deception by authorities and being forcibly taken to refugee camps. Many are confined at Keleti train station due to suspended international rail traffic. Some seek smugglers, while others lack funds to negotiate. They distrust local authorities and call for UN intervention. Recent events, like a train to Austria being stopped and passengers sent to refugee camps, have heightened their distrust. In desperation, hundreds began walking to Austria. In August alone, 50,000 migrants arrived in Hungary, marking the largest migration wave in Europe since WWII.
