VOICED : "Devuelvan el avión y la tripulación!", exige gobierno de Venezuela ante embajada argentina

A Venezuelan government commission protested at the Argentine embassy in Caracas over the retention of a cargo plane and part of its crew in Buenos Aires. The Boeing 747, operated by Demtrasur, a subsidiary of the state airline Combiasa, entered Argentina with auto parts from Mexico. Due to U.S. sanctions, it couldn't refuel in Buenos Aires and was denied entry to Uruguay, forcing it to return to Ceisa airport, where it was retained by a judge's order. An investigation was launched against the crew, consisting of 14 Venezuelans and five Iranians. A judge allowed 12 crew members to leave Argentina, but this decision is under appeal. The Paraguayan intelligence linked an Iranian crew member to the Al-Quds Force, a U.S.-designated terrorist group. A U.S. court later requested Argentina to seize the plane, citing violations of laws when Venezuela purchased it from Iran, also under sanctions.
